سُورَةُ العَادِيَاتِ

11 Ayahs

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

وَٱلْعَـٰدِيَـٰتِ ضَبْحًا (1)

’ By the galloping, panting horses,

فَٱلْمُورِيَـٰتِ قَدْحًا (2)

striking sparks of fire ˹with their hoofs˺,

فَٱلْمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبْحًا (3)

launching raids at dawn,

فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِۦ نَقْعًا (4)

stirring up ˹clouds of˺ dust,

فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِۦ جَمْعًا (5)

and penetrating into the heart of enemy lines!

إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٌ (6)

Surely humankind is ungrateful to their Lord—

وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ (7)

and they certainly attest to this—
