ٱلشُّعَرَاء

227 Ayahs

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

وَأَزْلَفْنَا ثَمَّ ٱلْـَٔاخَرِينَ (64)

We drew the pursuers to that place,

وَأَنجَيْنَا مُوسَىٰ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥٓ أَجْمَعِينَ (65)

and delivered Moses and those with him all together.

ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا ٱلْـَٔاخَرِينَ (66)

Then We drowned the others.

إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ (67)

Surely in this is a sign. Yet most of them would not believe.

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ (68)

And your Lord is certainly the Almighty, Most Merciful.

وَٱتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ (69)

Relate to them ˹O Prophet˺ the story of Abraham,

إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِۦ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ (70)

when he questioned his father and his people, “What is that you worship ˹besides Allah˺?”
