ٱلشُّعَرَاء

227 Ayahs

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَنِى فَهُوَ يَهْدِينِ (78)

˹He is˺ the One Who created me, and He ˹alone˺ guides me.

وَٱلَّذِى هُوَ يُطْعِمُنِى وَيَسْقِينِ (79)

˹He is˺ the One Who provides me with food and drink.

وَإِذَا مَرِضْتُ فَهُوَ يَشْفِينِ (80)

And He ˹alone˺ heals me when I am sick.

وَٱلَّذِى يُمِيتُنِى ثُمَّ يُحْيِينِ (81)

And He ˹is the One Who˺ will cause me to die, and then bring me back to life.

وَٱلَّذِىٓ أَطْمَعُ أَن يَغْفِرَ لِى خَطِيٓـَٔتِى يَوْمَ ٱلدِّينِ (82)

And He is ˹the One˺ Who, I hope, will forgive my flaws¹ on Judgment Day.”

رَبِّ هَبْ لِى حُكْمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِى بِٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ (83)

“My Lord! Grant me wisdom, and join me with the righteous.

وَٱجْعَل لِّى لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ (84)

Bless me with honourable mention among later generations.¹
