ٱلشُّعَرَاء

227 Ayahs

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

وَقِيلَ لَهُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْبُدُونَ (92)

And it will be said to them, “Where are those you used to worship

مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ هَلْ يَنصُرُونَكُمْ أَوْ يَنتَصِرُونَ (93)

besides Allah? Can they help you or even help themselves?”

فَكُبْكِبُوا۟ فِيهَا هُمْ وَٱلْغَاوُۥنَ (94)

Then the idols will be hurled headlong into Hell, along with the deviant

وَجُنُودُ إِبْلِيسَ أَجْمَعُونَ (95)

and the soldiers of Iblîs,¹ all together.

قَالُوا۟ وَهُمْ فِيهَا يَخْتَصِمُونَ (96)

There the deviant will cry while disputing with their idols,

تَٱللَّهِ إِن كُنَّا لَفِى ضَلَـٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ (97)

“By Allah! We were clearly mistaken,

إِذْ نُسَوِّيكُم بِرَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ (98)

when we made you equal to the Lord of all worlds.
