ٱلشُّعَرَاء

227 Ayahs

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

وَمَآ أَضَلَّنَآ إِلَّا ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ (99)

And none led us astray other than the wicked.

فَمَا لَنَا مِن شَـٰفِعِينَ (100)

Now we have none to intercede for us,

وَلَا صَدِيقٍ حَمِيمٍ (101)

nor a close friend.

فَلَوْ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةً فَنَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ (102)

If only we could have a second chance, then we would be believers.”

إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ (103)

Surely in this is a sign. Yet most of them would not believe.

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ (104)

And your Lord is certainly the Almighty, Most Merciful.

كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ (105)

The people of Noah rejected the messengers¹
