ٱلشُّعَرَاء

227 Ayahs

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا بَعْدُ ٱلْبَاقِينَ (120)

Then afterwards We drowned the rest.

إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ (121)

Surely in this is a sign. Yet most of them would not believe.

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ (122)

And your Lord is certainly the Almighty, Most Merciful.

كَذَّبَتْ عَادٌ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ (123)

The people of ’Âd rejected the messengers

إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ هُودٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ (124)

when their brother Hûd said to them, “Will you not fear ˹Allah˺?

إِنِّى لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ (125)

I am truly a trustworthy messenger to you.

فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ (126)

So fear Allah, and obey me.
