سُورَةُ الصَّافَّاتِ

182 Ayahs

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ (78)

And We blessed him ˹with honourable mention˺ among later generations:

سَلَـٰمٌ عَلَىٰ نُوحٍ فِى ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ (79)

“Peace be upon Noah among all peoples.”

إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ (80)

Indeed, this is how We reward the good-doers.

إِنَّهُۥ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ (81)

˹For˺ he was truly one of Our faithful servants.

ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا ٱلْـَٔاخَرِينَ (82)

Then We drowned the others.

۞ وَإِنَّ مِن شِيعَتِهِۦ لَإِبْرَٰهِيمَ (83)

And indeed, one of those who followed his way was Abraham.

إِذْ جَآءَ رَبَّهُۥ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ (84)

˹Remember˺ when he came to his Lord with a pure heart,
