سُورَةُ الصَّافَّاتِ

182 Ayahs

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلْبَلَـٰٓؤُا۟ ٱلْمُبِينُ (106)

That was truly a revealing test.

وَفَدَيْنَـٰهُ بِذِبْحٍ عَظِيمٍ (107)

And We ransomed his son with a great sacrifice,¹

وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ (108)

and blessed Abraham ˹with honourable mention˺ among later generations:

سَلَـٰمٌ عَلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ (109)

“Peace be upon Abraham.”

كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ (110)

This is how We reward the good-doers.

إِنَّهُۥ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ (111)

He was truly one of Our faithful servants.

وَبَشَّرْنَـٰهُ بِإِسْحَـٰقَ نَبِيًّا مِّنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ (112)

We ˹later˺ gave him good news of Isaac—a prophet, and one of the righteous.¹
