سُورَةُ الصَّافَّاتِ

182 Ayahs

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ (155)

Will you not then be mindful?

أَمْ لَكُمْ سُلْطَـٰنٌ مُّبِينٌ (156)

Or do you have ˹any˺ compelling proof?

فَأْتُوا۟ بِكِتَـٰبِكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ (157)

Then bring ˹us˺ your scripture, if what you say is true!

وَجَعَلُوا۟ بَيْنَهُۥ وَبَيْنَ ٱلْجِنَّةِ نَسَبًا ۚ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمَتِ ٱلْجِنَّةُ إِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ (158)

They have also established a ˹marital˺ relationship between Him and the jinn. Yet the jinn ˹themselves˺ know well that such people will certainly be brought ˹for punishment˺.¹

سُبْحَـٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ (159)

Glorified is Allah far above what they claim!

إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ (160)

But not the chosen servants of Allah.

فَإِنَّكُمْ وَمَا تَعْبُدُونَ (161)

Surely you ˹pagans˺ and whatever ˹idols˺ you worship
