سُورَةُ الصَّافَّاتِ

182 Ayahs

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

وَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنْ هَـٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ (15)

saying, “This is nothing but pure magic.

أَءِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَـٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ (16)

When we are dead and reduced to dust and bones, will we really be resurrected?

أَوَءَابَآؤُنَا ٱلْأَوَّلُونَ (17)

And our forefathers as well?”

قُلْ نَعَمْ وَأَنتُمْ دَٰخِرُونَ (18)

Say, “Yes! And you will be fully humbled.”

فَإِنَّمَا هِىَ زَجْرَةٌ وَٰحِدَةٌ فَإِذَا هُمْ يَنظُرُونَ (19)

It will only take one Blast,¹ then at once they will see ˹it all˺.

وَقَالُوا۟ يَـٰوَيْلَنَا هَـٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ (20)

They will cry, “Oh, woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment!”

هَـٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ (21)

˹They will be told,˺ “This is the Day of ˹Final˺ Decision which you used to deny.”
