سُورَةُ الصَّافَّاتِ

182 Ayahs

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

فِى جَنَّـٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ (43)

in the Gardens of Bliss,

عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مُّتَقَـٰبِلِينَ (44)

facing each other on thrones.¹

يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِكَأْسٍ مِّن مَّعِينٍۭ (45)

A drink ˹of pure wine˺ will be passed around to them from a flowing stream:

بَيْضَآءَ لَذَّةٍ لِّلشَّـٰرِبِينَ (46)

crystal-white, delicious to drink.

لَا فِيهَا غَوْلٌ وَلَا هُمْ عَنْهَا يُنزَفُونَ (47)

It will neither harm ˹them˺, nor will they be intoxicated by it.

وَعِندَهُمْ قَـٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرْفِ عِينٌ (48)

And with them will be maidens of modest gaze and gorgeous eyes,

كَأَنَّهُنَّ بَيْضٌ مَّكْنُونٌ (49)

as if they were pristine pearls.¹
