بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ


فَمَا بَكَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ وَٱلْأَرْضُ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُنظَرِينَ (29)

Neither heaven nor earth wept over them, nor was their fate delayed.



وَلَقَدْ نَجَّيْنَا بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ مِنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلْمُهِينِ (30)

And We certainly delivered the Children of Israel from the humiliating torment



مِن فِرْعَوْنَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَالِيًا مِّنَ ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ (31)

of Pharaoh. He was truly a tyrant, a transgressor.



وَلَقَدِ ٱخْتَرْنَـٰهُمْ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ عَلَى ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ (32)

And indeed, We chose the Israelites knowingly above the others.



وَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُم مِّنَ ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ مَا فِيهِ بَلَـٰٓؤٌا۟ مُّبِينٌ (33)

And We showed them signs in which there was a clear test.



إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَيَقُولُونَ (34)

Indeed, these ˹Meccans˺ say,



إِنْ هِىَ إِلَّا مَوْتَتُنَا ٱلْأُولَىٰ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُنشَرِينَ (35)

“There is nothing beyond our first death, and we will never be resurrected.
