Ayahs
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
وَلَقَد تَّرَكْنَـٰهَآ ءَايَةً فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ (15)
We certainly left this

as a sign. So is there anyone who will be mindful?

فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِى وَنُذُرِ (16)
Then how ˹dreadful˺ were My punishment and warnings!

وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ (17)
And We have certainly made the Quran easy to remember. So is there anyone who will be mindful?

كَذَّبَتْ عَادٌ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِى وَنُذُرِ (18)
’Ȃd ˹also˺ rejected ˹the truth˺. Then how ˹dreadful˺ were My punishment and warnings!

إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحًا صَرْصَرًا فِى يَوْمِ نَحْسٍ مُّسْتَمِرٍّ (19)
Indeed, We sent against them a furious wind,

on a day of unrelenting misery,

تَنزِعُ ٱلنَّاسَ كَأَنَّهُمْ أَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ مُّنقَعِرٍ (20)
that snatched people up, leaving them like trunks of uprooted palm trees.

فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِى وَنُذُرِ (21)
Then how ˹dreadful˺ were My punishment and warnings!
