سُورَةُ الرَّحْمَٰنِ

78 Ayahs

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

وَخَلَقَ ٱلْجَآنَّ مِن مَّارِجٍ مِّن نَّارٍ (15)

and created jinn from a ˹smokeless˺ flame of fire.

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (16)

Then which of your Lord’s favours will you both deny?

رَبُّ ٱلْمَشْرِقَيْنِ وَرَبُّ ٱلْمَغْرِبَيْنِ (17)

˹He is˺ Lord of the two easts and the two wests.¹

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (18)

Then which of your Lord’s favours will you both deny?

مَرَجَ ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيَانِ (19)

He merges the two bodies of ˹fresh and salt˺ water,

بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخٌ لَّا يَبْغِيَانِ (20)

yet between them is a barrier they never cross.¹

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ (21)

Then which of your Lord’s favours will you both deny?
