سُورَةُ الوَاقِعَةِ

96 Ayahs

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

فَأَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْمَيْمَنَةِ مَآ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْمَيْمَنَةِ (8)

the people of the right, how ˹blessed˺ will they be;

وَأَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْمَشْـَٔمَةِ مَآ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْمَشْـَٔمَةِ (9)

the people of the left, how ˹miserable˺ will they be;

وَٱلسَّـٰبِقُونَ ٱلسَّـٰبِقُونَ (10)

and the foremost ˹in faith˺ will be the foremost ˹in Paradise˺.

أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَ (11)

They are the ones nearest ˹to Allah˺,

فِى جَنَّـٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ (12)

in the Gardens of Bliss.

ثُلَّةٌ مِّنَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ (13)

˹They will be˺ a multitude from earlier generations

وَقَلِيلٌ مِّنَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ (14)

and a few from later generations.
