سُورَةُ الوَاقِعَةِ

96 Ayahs

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

وَحُورٌ عِينٌ (22)

And ˹they will have˺ maidens with gorgeous eyes,

كَأَمْثَـٰلِ ٱللُّؤْلُؤِ ٱلْمَكْنُونِ (23)

like pristine pearls,

جَزَآءًۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ (24)

˹all˺ as a reward for what they used to do.

لَا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًا وَلَا تَأْثِيمًا (25)

There they will never hear any idle or sinful talk—

إِلَّا قِيلًا سَلَـٰمًا سَلَـٰمًا (26)

only good and virtuous speech.¹

وَأَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْيَمِينِ مَآ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْيَمِينِ (27)

And the people of the right—how ˹blessed˺ will they be!

فِى سِدْرٍ مَّخْضُودٍ (28)

˹They will be˺ amid thornless lote trees,
