سُورَةُ الوَاقِعَةِ

96 Ayahs

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُنَّ أَبْكَارًا (36)

making them virgins,

عُرُبًا أَتْرَابًا (37)

loving and of equal age,

لِّأَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلْيَمِينِ (38)

for the people of the right,

ثُلَّةٌ مِّنَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ (39)

˹who will be˺ a multitude from earlier generations

وَثُلَّةٌ مِّنَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ (40)

and a multitude from later generations.

وَأَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلشِّمَالِ مَآ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلشِّمَالِ (41)

And the people of the left—how ˹miserable˺ will they be!

فِى سَمُومٍ وَحَمِيمٍ (42)

˹They will be˺ in scorching heat and boiling water,
