بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ


قَالَ إِن كُنتَ جِئْتَ بِـَٔايَةٍ فَأْتِ بِهَآ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ (106)

Pharaoh said, “If you have come with a sign, then bring it if what you say is true.”



فَأَلْقَىٰ عَصَاهُ فَإِذَا هِىَ ثُعْبَانٌ مُّبِينٌ (107)

So Moses threw down his staff and—behold!—it became a real snake.



وَنَزَعَ يَدَهُۥ فَإِذَا هِىَ بَيْضَآءُ لِلنَّـٰظِرِينَ (108)

Then he drew his hand ˹out of his collar˺ and it was ˹shining˺ white for all to see.



قَالَ ٱلْمَلَأُ مِن قَوْمِ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَسَـٰحِرٌ عَلِيمٌ (109)

The chiefs of Pharaoh’s people said, “He is indeed a skilled magician,



يُرِيدُ أَن يُخْرِجَكُم مِّنْ أَرْضِكُمْ ۖ فَمَاذَا تَأْمُرُونَ (110)

who seeks to drive you from your land.” ˹So Pharaoh asked,˺ “What do you propose?”



قَالُوٓا۟ أَرْجِهْ وَأَخَاهُ وَأَرْسِلْ فِى ٱلْمَدَآئِنِ حَـٰشِرِينَ (111)

They replied, “Let him and his brother wait and send mobilizers to all cities



يَأْتُوكَ بِكُلِّ سَـٰحِرٍ عَلِيمٍ (112)

to bring you every clever magician.”
