سُورَةُ نُوحٍ

28 Ayahs

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

ثُمَّ إِنِّى دَعَوْتُهُمْ جِهَارًا (8)

Then I certainly called them openly,

ثُمَّ إِنِّىٓ أَعْلَنتُ لَهُمْ وَأَسْرَرْتُ لَهُمْ إِسْرَارًا (9)

then I surely preached to them publicly and privately,

فَقُلْتُ ٱسْتَغْفِرُوا۟ رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ غَفَّارًا (10)

saying, ‘Seek your Lord’s forgiveness, ˹for˺ He is truly Most Forgiving.

يُرْسِلِ ٱلسَّمَآءَ عَلَيْكُم مِّدْرَارًا (11)

He will shower you with abundant rain,

وَيُمْدِدْكُم بِأَمْوَٰلٍ وَبَنِينَ وَيَجْعَل لَّكُمْ جَنَّـٰتٍ وَيَجْعَل لَّكُمْ أَنْهَـٰرًا (12)

supply you with wealth and children, and give you gardens as well as rivers.

مَّا لَكُمْ لَا تَرْجُونَ لِلَّهِ وَقَارًا (13)

What is the matter with you that you are not in awe of the Majesty of Allah,

وَقَدْ خَلَقَكُمْ أَطْوَارًا (14)

when He truly created you in stages ˹of development˺?¹
