56 Ayahs

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

نَذِيرًا لِّلْبَشَرِ (36)

a warning to humankind,


لِمَن شَآءَ مِنكُمْ أَن يَتَقَدَّمَ أَوْ يَتَأَخَّرَ (37)

to whichever of you chooses to take the lead or lag behind.


كُلُّ نَفْسٍۭ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ رَهِينَةٌ (38)

Every soul will be detained for what it has done,


إِلَّآ أَصْحَـٰبَ ٱلْيَمِينِ (39)

except the people of the right,


فِى جَنَّـٰتٍ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ (40)

who will be in Gardens, asking one another


عَنِ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ (41)

about the wicked ˹who will then be asked˺:


مَا سَلَكَكُمْ فِى سَقَرَ (42)

“What has landed you in Hell?”
