50 Ayahs

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ (8)

So when the stars are put out,


وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتْ (9)

and the sky is torn apart,


وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ (10)

and the mountains are blown away,


وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ (11)

and the messengers’ time ˹to testify˺ comes up—


لِأَىِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ (12)

for which Day has all this been set?


لِيَوْمِ ٱلْفَصْلِ (13)

For the Day of ˹Final˺ Decision!


وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ (14)

And what will make you realize what the Day of Decision is?
