سُورَةُ التَّكْوِيرِ

29 Ayahs

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِٱلْخُنَّسِ (15)

I do swear by the receding stars

ٱلْجَوَارِ ٱلْكُنَّسِ (16)

which travel and hide,¹

وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا عَسْعَسَ (17)

and the night as it falls

وَٱلصُّبْحِ إِذَا تَنَفَّسَ (18)

and the day as it breaks!¹

إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍ كَرِيمٍ (19)

Indeed, this ˹Quran˺ is the Word of ˹Allah delivered by Gabriel,˺ a noble messenger-angel,

ذِى قُوَّةٍ عِندَ ذِى ٱلْعَرْشِ مَكِينٍ (20)

full of power, held in honour by the Lord of the Throne,

مُّطَاعٍ ثَمَّ أَمِينٍ (21)

obeyed there ˹in heaven˺, and trustworthy.
