سُورَةُ اللَّيْلِ

21 Ayahs

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰ (1)

By the night when it covers,

وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّىٰ (2)

and the day when it shines!

وَمَا خَلَقَ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلْأُنثَىٰٓ (3)

And by ˹the One˺ Who created male and female!

إِنَّ سَعْيَكُمْ لَشَتَّىٰ (4)

Surely the ends you strive for are diverse.

فَأَمَّا مَنْ أَعْطَىٰ وَٱتَّقَىٰ (5)

As for the one who is charitable, mindful ˹of Allah˺,

وَصَدَّقَ بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ (6)

and ˹firmly˺ believes in the finest reward,

فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ (7)

We will facilitate for them the Way of Ease.
