سُورَةُ اللَّيْلِ

21 Ayahs

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

وَأَمَّا مَنۢ بَخِلَ وَٱسْتَغْنَىٰ (8)

And as for the one who is stingy, indifferent ˹to Allah˺,

وَكَذَّبَ بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ (9)

and ˹staunchly˺ denies the finest reward,

فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلْعُسْرَىٰ (10)

We will facilitate for them the path of hardship.

وَمَا يُغْنِى عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥٓ إِذَا تَرَدَّىٰٓ (11)

And their wealth will be of no benefit to them when they tumble ˹into Hell˺.

إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا لَلْهُدَىٰ (12)

It is certainly upon Us ˹alone˺ to show ˹the way to˺ guidance.

وَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلْـَٔاخِرَةَ وَٱلْأُولَىٰ (13)

And surely to Us ˹alone˺ belong this life and the next.

فَأَنذَرْتُكُمْ نَارًا تَلَظَّىٰ (14)

And so I have warned you of a raging Fire,
